Data from the British Council has been leaked. 10,000 records of students
Clario researchers identified an unsecured and unprotected Microsoft Azure blob repository on December 5, 2021, and reported the security problem.On December 5, researchers contacted the British Council, which validated what they had discovered on December 23.
The repository contained "personal and login details of British Council students, potentially putting them and their personal information at risk," according to Clario researchers.
A British Council spokeswoman told The Daily Swig that 10,000 data were "available in a way that should not have occurred" in an email.Read More
