Gems, the UAE's largest school group, has reported a cyber-attack; an inquiry has been initiated.
When the UAE's largest school group learned of the latest cyber security breach, they "quickly activated their cyber-security response plan."
"We apologize for reaching you at such a late hour, but we wanted you to hear this news from us first," the education group wrote in a circular issued to parents. "We're writing to inform you of a cyber-attack against Gems Education." They added, "We have enacted our well-rehearsed cybersecurity response plan and our IT team is ensuring that all our systems are safe and secure. We have engaged the necessary third-party expertise to assist us in our investigation and in the meantime all our schools remain open and running as normal.” Read More
