Minorities and Women are the most prone to being Hacked
According to the findings of a survey released Monday by Malwarebytes, Digitunity, and the Cybercrime Support Network, minorities, those with lower incomes, and those with lower education levels are more likely to be victims of a cyberattack, and some groups are far more likely to face online threats.
Women, for example, are more likely than males to receive text messages from unknown numbers with potentially dangerous links (79 percent compared with 73 percent). In addition, over half of women (46%) stated their social media accounts had been hacked, compared to 37% of males.Read More
